    Wheelie Help.

Whats going on, i am new at the Stunting scene and i am starting with the basic wheelie.
I have an 2003 GSXR and was hoping to get help finding the power band and the steps for a proper wheelie.
I have been trying to get it up at 5K with the clutch but it is not working.
What are the right steps to get it up, my understanding is
    1. First gear
2.hammer it and when you hit the power band, you pop the clutch quickly.
    3. Do i let off of the gas a tiny bit while i cover the back brake ?
    thanks for your input.

OR if anyone has a good video to watch for newbs.

Are you riding on the street at speed? Or are you in a parking lot/ stunt spot going slow?

It sounds like you are on the street: so get yourself positioned comfortably (sit down or staggerd) and look ahead, not at the gauges. One finger on the clutch, right foot covering the rear brake. You give slight throttle, then pull the clutch in continue to give throttle then dump the clutch.

Keep the brake covered, but to actually use it you need to be pretty high.

I just recently started to get it up in 2nd gear with the clutch. I am too pussy to clutch in first right now cuz I am geared and can get it up with power alone. I learned that you want to be accelerating into the clutch pop. That explanation is what helped me most. Go out in 2nd gear about 6-7k rpm pop with one finger, and accelerate into that ******* It will come up. Dont forget to cover the brake and when you are coming down, give it some throttle to ease the wheel down. Practice safe if thats even possible haha...baby steps
