Ticket St.John"s Side road

Clocked at 87 in a 50... It's a wide road i passed a van no other cars on the road. He stepped onto the road waved me over ( odd i usually spot them) . Giving credit to the officer he atleast heard me out and reduced it to 10 over no Points , great guy.

My question is would paying the $40 fine w/o fighting it result in any negatives on my record?

A conviction is still a conviction, you'll take an insurance hit no matter if it was the full 87 in a 50 or 10 over.

I live on st johns east of Kennedy and idiots speed down that road like you wouldn't believe. Where was the cop?

The fine amount is lower but the insurance consequences are absolutely identical.

Cop was at the bottom of the hill just west of industrial pkwy

-My renewal is due all i have to do is sign, if i do so before paying/fighting the ticket, will the insurance stay the same for the year?

If you haven't been convicted, you don't have that conviction on your record and they won't look into it until next renewal.
