Age and riding experience shouldn't matter too much. If anyone ends up riding like a tool, we just won't bring them along next time.

I could see a list with location and bike being beneficial. Let's get everyone's emails first and go from there. PMs sent to Tinsnips, Teal and carboncat.

I am usually available during the week and weekends once the weather is good.
Think Panici is right once we get everyone's email we should send out a general email.

Also if we don't have everyone's information in the next couple days we should still send the email so we aren't waiting for just a couple people.

    Re: St. Catharines riders.

I think it would be best to set up a weekly meet at a known location in St Catharines (or wherever really) and then advertise the heck out of it to other riders in the area instead, even by word of mouth. The amount of fellow riders that I know are on GTAM, i know the equivalent who have never heard of GTAM but I am sure they would love to join the group ride, if there was a set time and day that is consistent.
Heck, make it twice a week even, same spot same time. One day of the weekend and another during the week.

Let's say you pick saturday evenings and some people can't make it, they can just PM the others and set something up for sunday. Nothing is holding you back from setting up private rides.

I'm not going to hijack Panici's thread, but I think that's the better option.
Set up a poll to pick 2 days of the week (one weekend and one mon-fri) and then finalize it by picking a place and time.
I much prefer going to organized meets that are consistant. After a while, if everyone spreads the word, you can get a nice crowd going.

I'm in on this idea, but I don't want to be part of a mailing list, sorry.
