    review - X-TRE of Suzuki/Kawasaki

    I recently installed a x-TRE on my 06 GSXR 600.

    The claim is:

The X-TRE (Timing Retard Eliminator) module improves partial-throttle response in gears 1-3, and bypasses the speed limiter on 1000cc+ bikes. It adds as much as 15 horsepower (e.g. the B-King in 2nd gear), while improving throttle response and acceleration in the lower gears. The unit automatically turns off the mapping in Neutral for smooth idle operation.

    My review:

I love this thing! My gear indictor still works, some of the cheaper units always display 5th gear so you don't always know what gear you're in and you can't start the bike with the kickstand down.

Definately feel a little more kick down low. Changing gears are super smooth now almost like an automatic car, no more herky jerky riding. The bike also wheelies a lot easier.......by mistake of course. Great product and well worth the money. If I had a 1000cc I would like to see how it handles at top end speed.

    Tre installed by Hertiage Auto.

This one has received favourable reviews on the Gixxer forums: http://www.danosperformance.com/Suzuki%20GP-TRE.htm (still debating one for myself...). At this time, no clue if he makes it for other brands.
    Peeing in the gene pool...

I love my Healtech GI Pro ATRE, my bike didn't come from factory with gear indicator so now i no longer try to shift into 7th gear mine also has 4 switchable maps, displays the proper gear, you can adjust the brightness of the gear indicator and as for the top speed limiter removal, it must be true cause i still haven't topped my bike out
It's ok to excuse some ignorance, as we all haven't experienced the same things in life...
And some people are really "so good" that, maybe you can excuse a bit a arrogance.
But, one thing that you can never excuse, is arrogant ignorance.....
