Btw, just a side note, I check the insurance difference for me between M2 and M. Surprise-surprise! ZERO! They only care about number of years insured / years of experience.

You think you had it bad! I had to wait 30 days after paying my $16 dollars for my written test to take the riding test and have my full M. Oh, the stress!

That's why I took my time to get my M. I saw no incentive to getting it done sooner.
As a follow-up: since DriveTest didn't call me, I called them. It turns out they lost my paperwork and it may have been categorised now. I'll need to take a day off to go and get another temporary permit and hopefully they can get me my damn license before the next one expires. It's not like I didn't pay for it 2 months ago. Oh wait, I did!

Back at drive test. Apparently they have no idea why I was lowered to an M1(?!)) and are trying to get me my M2 back before I go out of town.
Been here 5.5 hours with minimal progress. Gonna blow a gasket pretty soon.

Not sure where you got that from... I ride a scooter in the winter, 250 and a Harley XL-883 during the season...
