Looking for recommendations for a decent US destination; either a same day or overnight from Hamilton. Good riding roads, somewhere worth stopping over at.Somewhere in the ballpark within 500kms away. Any suggestions?
Anywhere around the finger lakes is good. Reasonable riding roads, pretty twisty if you follow the lakes north/south as they follow the shoreline some of them. Night riding would be a bit hazardous, some of the darkest roads I've ever seen. Not too many cops about but it is NY State so be careful. Fair few towns at the north end of the lakes that are OK for nightlife/bars. I don't know about the southern end much.
