I got nailed 2 years ago for going 83 ina 65 ,five hours from the boarder(NY state)....If I remember correctly around $120 USD fine...plus around $80 USD processing fee (paid the fine on line...)...no points or any trace of it on my record...

The other day I received a speeding ticket in New York State for going 80 in a 65. He caught me by laser but was facing the opposite way. I have read that places like Xcopper can fight it down to a parking ticket. What would be the steps if I where to fight it myself? and plea not guilty. Would I just have to show up to court and deny all allegations ?. If so Id rather do it myself then pay someone $550 to do it for me.
Thanks

You might be better off asking advice over at WNY Sportriders. They may be able to point you to a good traffic lawyer/paralegal.
