What do black numbers signify (other than the bike number of course)? What other colours are used?

Parts Canada and RACE
Black = Pro
Red = Amateur

SOAR
Black = Expert
Red = Novice

I must really confuse the marshalls. Both my bike and my leathers are black and red. Think I'll put black numbers on the AM bike too just to really fool with 'em.
