not be sound rude, but there is a great search function on the site, check it out!

the answer to your question though is NO! You cannot plate a branded bike or car here in ontario. If you buy one from quebec and bring it here, all you will have is a track bike.
Caught you looking!! Signature advertising works, inquire if you you would like to rent this space.

    Thank you.

I was getting rather ****** off, about getting the run around, so i did not think to search, nor really have the patients to.

One MTO said, yeah just go get a structural safety, collision center said, Nope, can't be done. Called MTO back, and said, yup should be fine, just get the structural. Call MTO head office, and they confirm i just bought a ****ing track bike!

So, I'm a little ******, but it is all my fault for not researching!

Oh man that sucks! Unless you wanna ride track, but even then its not a great track bike!

Also, seeing you bought a branded older bike from there, i hope you didnt pay more then like $1500 for that bike.

    Yeah, here is the thing.

I own a 98 ZX9R, and HATE riding alone. My buddy has wanted a bike for as long as i have if not longer, and is strapped for cash. I had some extra laying around so i said, ill buy it for you and you can either pay me back, or give it back after a year or so. So we went up and got it, he was all stoked and now he cant even ride the thing on the street.

He told me it was in an accident, but i never thought about it being branded, or even that it would be a problem.

Do i part it out, sell it back to someone in QB, or sell it to someone for a track bike?

What kind of bike is it? Just curious....

Why not try posting it up here on GTAM in the classified. Never know, someone might be looking for a track bike.
Throw it on Kijiji and Fleabay too - never know, you may get lucky. If nobody bites, then think about parting it out - depends on how badly you need the money back.

    Later!

You can also try to find a frame with a clean ownership and transfer all the parts over.

I think it would be best to part it out or try your luck on Ebay. Depending on how much you want out of it, i dont see anyone paying more then $1500 like I said.
You can get a sick track bike in QC for like $2500 is thats what someone really wanted. i know its hindsight now, but that should have been the first thing you look for when buying from QC.

Do you happen to be keith's buddy? Your story sounds way too familiar. If so, glad you are on the lookout for him as i would hate to see this be the start of his moto career.

Did you even try to register it? Not saying you can, but hell give it a shot. Seeing as how you can't get a straight answer, take the papers in and see what happens.
