Guys and Gals
When it comes to our military nothing is more important than showing our support and gratitude to those who serve and defend our country, as a former Canadian Soldier I know this first hand.
I encourage everyone to participate in this ride as it helps raise awareness and support for a worthy cause the Wounded Warriors. http://woundedwarriors.ca/what-we-do/

Im leaving to go to Montréal on my bike the very minute I am done working on that saturday afternoon, and I will be passing by Belleville on my long (and most likely boring) drive on the 401. Does that count?

For those of you who haven't been to Belleville before it is approx 2hrs east of TO. I was thinking that anyone departing from TO could meet at the Scarborough town centre (at Milestones unless someone has a better suggestion) at 8am and depart at 8:10am.
We should be in B-ville around 10am which will give us a little extra time to get registered and mingle before the group departs from Belleville at 11:00 am sharp.
The mandatory waiver can be downloaded and completed ahead of time for anyone wishing to expedite the process. (see link in the initial post)
Craig to answer your question, I am not sure since I haven't checked with google maps. I imagine the most efficient way to get to to where we need to be is via the 401. (the ride starts from a truckstop just off the 401). I am going to check though and update in a few minutes.
Update: The Googles says it is 65 minutes from Scarborough to Port Hope, Craig we should be in your hood around 9:15am please let me know if you wish to join us as we'll need to arrange a meeting spot. Thanks.
Update 2: Planning to keep the ride to B-ville newbie friendly, anyone planning to ride please keep this in mind. The police will be out in force, I guarantee it.

I'm not very familiar with that area. But it is probably easiest to pick a landmark such as a restaurant near a hwy exit.
From looking on Googlemaps, at Toronto Rd exit, there is a car pool parking lot just south of the 401on the east side of the road, we can meat there. You can go to Google maps toport hope, go to street view, then drag the man down from 401, so you can seethe parking lot, with the water tower in the background. Let me know if thisworks for you? I also need to know what you will be riding?

Oy! Another group of cruiser riders in the Jack Astor's next door just added a level of confusion! Haha
Anyone who couldn't make the scarberia meet can still try for port hope, see above for info.
