Just want to share my experience with you guys, maybe my bad experience can serve you well.
I found an Alpinestars jacket up for sale on Kijiji, the jacket really appealed to me and was my size.
Contacted the seller to ask about the shape of the jacket and if he'd ship to Montreal. He responded that the jacket was in clean shape aside from a few minor scratches on a shoulder.
We agreed on terms, I paid upfront and the jacket showed up a few days later.
It turns out that in addition to the minor scratches, there is also an area of 1"x2" at the back of the right shoulder that suffered intensive dammage, it's even punctured. There is a hole in the back right shoulder. If this area is submited to any strech stress, it will rip open.
Guess who is ignoring my emails now ...
Guess is should have been more cautious ...
Moral of the story : If you come across this guy and think of buying something from him, don't rely on his word, if you can't see the goods, refrain.

I can't agree (or disagree) that this Mark guy ripped you off... was the jacket cheap? he did disclose that it had some damage on the shoulder... its hard to describe stuff over the phone or via email....maybe he didn't elaborate enough, or maybe you didn't ask enough ---
Just take some pictures of the jacket and the damage and describe the damage and post it on GTA Motorcycle classifieds for what you paid for it --- someone else might not be as concearned about the damage, if its disclosed properly and if its priced right ---
Well, you can make your own opinion up. The sale price was $ 200, I asked :
«Hi, how clean is it ?Scuffs/scratches/damages ?»
He said :
«It's pretty clean.Has some slight scuffing on the right shoulder. Otherwise it's perfect.»
