The battery for the Drift is the same as for the Kodak EasyShare Z7590. The battery is KLIC-5001 and they are cheap

Nope. It's not the same one. There is the HD170 and the STEALTH HD170. The Stealth is more expensive regardless of where you buy it compared to the regular one.

What the difference between stealth and non-stealth? Other than fps.

I guess it comes down to what you want to do with your videos. If you are only making vids for YouTube or websites and stuff then you may want to shoot in 720 and make it easier to do some slo-motion stuff. If you only want HD because you are saving them to DVD or making full productions then you will stick to HD ya.

The Action (orange) is different than the Stealth (black - supposedly newer model)
Also, the accessories can be different.

I got the Drif inovation HD170 Stealth it's a good camera light and the LCD is great.
I also have the stealth version of the HD170. I call it my stripper camera . The HD video is awesome. Shooting in 1080P creates large files, a 40 minute continuous video was 3.9G. You have to have a computer with lots of ram and a good processor to play it smoothly. That said I shoot in 720. I mounted it to the side of my helmet, rotate the camera to compensate for being in a forward riding position and adjust the lens so that it is vertical. The only drawback that I see is not knowing if I started recording when I push the remote button. I have it mounted to my top triple, it would be nice to have a small led to illuminate when the camera is recording. Just a small gripe and pretty insignificant considering the other cameras don't have a remote.
Personally not a fan of the drift, Take a look at it in person. Its like a brick on your helmet; not to mention the black one is hard to find. If you can get passed an orange brick on your helmet its a great cam setup. I choose Contour GPS
