I heard this news, while out for a ride (was in Elora). When I got back into Kitchener, the road was still closed. I watched CKCO tonight, but they didn't have much details yet.
R.I.P. Rider. I drove past this tonight on my way home....

It just makes my heart ache that someone turns in front of a rider without regard for their safety and winds up killing them. It really is a shame that people don't take a second to think that there may be dire consequences for their actions. I really I hate to see this where someone pays the ultimate price while "charges may be laid".

The fatality in Kitchener (Ottawa/Hickson), and also the Waterloo one ended up being fatal.
