Clutch toast, cheapest method possible? extreme emergency

so ya ted confirmed it the clutch is slipping. i need new plates and springs. the labour alone is more then i can afford

he says 300+ installed, its hard to get at the clutch because of the water pump.

i have no where close to this amount. i literally just started working fulltime 2 days ago in the middle of nowhere, this is my primary vehicle so now i can no longer work. i am not able to drive a car. i am not able to borrow any kind of money from anyone. i dont get paid for 3 weeks. i need it every day to get to and from work

my options are either find somewhere asap to fix it, for cheap

or cancel my insurance and pay for the repairs, sell my bike and figure something out down the road. my next insurance payment comes out may 15th, there is no way in hell i can juggle this repair, that payment and all my other responsibilities, this month was extremely tight for me, and now im pooched

can anyone please help me out here. i am at a lost and couldnt be more bummed at this moment

id buy a clutch kit and do it my self but the earliest that i could get one ordered in is Wednesday just called 12 motorcycle shops and not one has it stocked.

Put it on a credit card, and pay it off once you get more financially established.

You can sometimes stretch the interval of needing to replace the clutch fibres if you put washers under the clutch springs and put it all back together. It's not a fix, and youll need to baby it, but the added pressure from the shimmed springs can sometimes get you going again, for a while.

    The washers won't do much.
If you have it apart it will help to sandblast the metals.

Even flipping the order of the plates might help till your new ones come in. Make sure you get the gasket for the cover

You can ALWAYS get a loan, traditional banks may not help you but other institutions will at a higher interest rate. If you only use what you need and apply the balance as a prepayment on the loan you should only pay minimal interest.

Try the loanarranger and places like that.
