    427 southbound rider down

Just on my way home going southbound on 27 where it connects to 427 just under the bridge. A BMW 1000rr was on the grass bank and the rider was down and not moving. Looks like he must have misjudged the ramp and hit the gravel on the shoulder. No paramedics yet. I hope this guy is OK. He didn't look good! I told the few cagers there not to touch him AT ALL!

The 427 has got to be the worst hiway anywhere for bikers and cars too.
Its unbelievable the # of vehicles switching lanes and merging.
    Especially south of the 401.
    Be carefull on the 427.
I hope the rider is ok.
Good for the OP to tell everyone not to touch him.

Lots of gravel and sand around corners still on city streets too, I had a close call as well.

    Re: 427 southbound rider down

I go down there every day, coming home from work.
    Southbound on 27 highway, it's 70 kph.
South of Belfield Road it increases to 80 kph.
South of Dixon, at the bottom of the hill when it turns into 427 south, it becomes 100 kph.
    Cagers just do 90.
They do 90 in the 70 zone, and they do 90 in the 100 zone, it's really annoying.
    Re: gravel/sand etc.
Not on the highway. Besides, a little sand won't bug you if you're doing 100 clicks.
I mean as long as you don't encounter a dune or something, heheh...
Rider must be okay, or we would have read more about it.
