01 gsxr oil window unclear

Just purchased my 01 gsxr and had an oil change done at a local motorcycle shop. Bike is running fine although i have noticed that the oil window is kinda foggy, like there is moisture inside. It was like that when I purchased the bike and thought it was there due to the winter and it was not winterized. So, i guess the question is, do i need to be worried about this even after a proper oil change has been done?

no, let your bike go through a few heat cycles, the moisture will go away.

In all motors (cars, bikes etc.) the motor oil must be heated to a temperature above 100C.
At this point it will give up all its moisture.
Short trips ie. commuting will not do this, but will instead introduce moisture into your motor through condensation.
(Also applies to exhaust systems...)
You've heard the old expression "give 'er a good blast on the highway" - it's true!
The little oil window will also display the effect of old oil "varnishing" the insides of the motor.
Motul makes a very strong engine cleaner which, when added to your oil ~10 minutes before oil & filter change, will take the boots to this varnish.
Ideally the window will be more clear and not varnished too yellowish.
It's therefore easier to keep your oil dry and clean in the summer - but more challenging for us all in the autumn and early spring.
