1. Wave like a crazy madman.
2. Stop waving and pay attention to turning the oil pan bolt.
3. Don't wear my helmet while stripping oil pan bolts.

I find outside of the core almost everyone waves / waves back. Only kids that wave within the core are normally new riders who're just really, really excited to finally get to wave. You know the big wave I'm talking about..

For me, I usually wave back if others wave at me, otherwise it's just a nod.

I though the wave was the secret hand shake of us motorcyle riders. Bonding us as brothers, sharing in freedom of the open road, the rebellion in our souls, the badge we survived yet another day amongst the cages.

I usually wave all the time, sometimes first, sometimes second, sometimes I don't see the wave 'till it is too late.

^^^..... and I always wave to cops on bikes....so far they have all waved back...
