hey guys
i just got my very first bike (2003 Yamaha R6) about 3 weeks ago. i practiced in parking lots for about 4 days before coming onto the road and so far am loving the bike. I found that the bike was a lot easier to ride then everyone had been telling me (" no dont get an R6 its too powerful you will flip it or something"). youtube and a Twist Of The Wrist were my teachers. So far and i think my riding is pretty respectable for a newbie. im enrolled in the motorcycle safety course at Sheridan college and will be doing that within the next few weeks.
i'v checked out the milton riders thread and will posting there soon as well. if anyone in the area wants to ride this weekend or some time next week give me a shout!!!
not trying to sound over confident or anything. i have been talking it really slow and steady. just meant in regards of stalling, cornering, and acceleration.
Welcome!
Just ride it slow and safe bud; see you on the streets.
Welcome aboard and take it easy!

welcome..ride safe.. shiny side up!
Only a biker knows why a dog sticks its head out the window!!
welcome! ride safe!
I’d rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Welcome. Take it easy on that thing.
