No previous insurance, First year with M2, riding a 600SS, under 25. That rate is pretty standard.

no, having your M doesnt really make any difference at all. I am 22 with an M, clean history, with ~6 years bike/car insurance history. and the quotes i was getting were around the $3400 mark. that being said, bundle a car in and go to statefarm, but sometimes the statefarm car rates are pretty crappy.
