$3467 for Liability under age of 25

Couple things:

- Im 23
- G2M2
- M2 This year
- 2003 CBR600RR
- No previous auto insurance

Got a quote for $3467 for just liability. What you guys think of that?

I am thinking the exact opposite. If he doesn't know that is a huge rip off then he probably has more money than he needs. OP it doesn't drive you insane that one year of insurance is worth as much as your bike?

its a good rate.....keeping in mind the fact that "- No previous auto insurance"

I'm same age and looking to upgrade and if I can find a quote like that I'll be jumping on it ASAP. \

thanks for your input but i also plan on paying this amount in full with cash so... i was just asking for an opinion not whether i could afford or not..

no because earlier i got a quote of $12,000. going with that, the quote i presented to you guys is almost a quarter of what i was given earlier.

JUST FYI:

From 21 - 24 years old.

'98 SRAD 600 $1600/year liability
'00 F4 $1600/year liability
03/04 636 $2025/year liability
04/05 ZX10 $2600/year liability.

I have a GM2, with 5 years driving/insurance, and 1 minor ticket with no AT fault claims.

Have the house, and all the cars with statefarm + good student discount...

I already the spoke to the OP about getting his G.
it makes a huge difference for some insurance company to getting a bike insurance especially if it's his first time.

It does help a little, however being over 25 helps even more. It gets even better once you reach your dirty thirties! Ha ha ha!!!

Hey OP that is similar as to what I'm paying now for my 05 cbr 600RR but with fire + theft with State Farm
BUT i'm upgrading to a 125 so I can pay $90/month with Jevco.

thats a pretty good rate if you ask me, il be paying 2400 for just liability on a 06 cb599 this year and that was the cheapest i could find. im 23 with my am2 z. any "super sport" like a 600rr or r6 i was getting qouted 12000 a year. so id say thats a good deal being pretty much the same age as i am. and which company did you get quoted with?

Got an 07 KTM 950 Supermoto and new rate is $853 full coverage!! The savings alone will put titanium pipes on my bike!

I got $3506 as my best quote for a cbr125/ninja 250....
But... I have 1 claim and 1 ticket.... so.... I guess that could effect it
