    Online stores: 4 reviews

Just wanted to drop a note on 4 online vendors I've done business with over the last little while:

    1. Solo Moto Parts - http://www.solomotoparts.com/home.php
    2. Motomummy - https://www.motomummy.com/store/home.php
    3. Canada's Motorcycle - http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/

The above 3 vendors, in my personal experience, have consistently offered good prices, fair shipping fees and fantastic service (their product was always delivered to my door quickly and packaged well).

Special mention to the 4th vendor, Reservoir Socks (http://www.reservoirsocks.com) who's customer service was really a pleasure to deal with (my contact there was a lady by the name of Nima).

Figured the above might come handy for those of you who have reservations shopping online.

Thanks for this!! It's hard enough to find parts for my GS500F. Solo Moto Parts' Shop by Bike feature really does help narrow down my choices. And they actually have things I'm looking for!!

    Cheers n Happy Riding!

Good to hear, had nothing but good experiences with Solo (and over on the Gixxer.com forums lots of postive ratings for 'em), so good luck to you and your hunt for parts!

Philly, not sure, so far I've been lucky (?) and ordered stuff that either: 1. was not subject to any tariffs or 2. the company quotes the product with the tariffs already built into the price.

Sorry I can't be of more help than this (just figured I'd put out the good word on online vendors you can purchase from who won't gouge you on costs or shipping charges *cough* *cough* *STG* *cough*).

    Thanks,

Reason being I ordered $1k worth of stuff from solomoto, before I read this post. Just hoping I don't get hit too hard at the border. Keep you guys posted.

Just an update for those trolling, only got hit with $34 of taxes, no duties from the 1k$ purchase $34 was for the shipment of an akrapovic pipe, the rest came in clean from solomoto.

+1 for canada's motorcycle. They have given excellent customer service so far and the waiting time for items to be shipped is a little shorter seeing that they ship from montreal.

Just received my order today from SoloMoto! They delivered great products and quickly. Customs took almost 10 days! But from order to my door(omit customs) was about 6 business days=D
Got my new windscreen installed tonight! I'll wait for the weekend for the sprockets =D

My dad recently ordered a new rear tire from http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/ and he was very happy with the transaction. He got a great price, free shipping, and it was a very fast delivery.

I recently ordered a new slipon exhaust from www.bikebandit.com and I was really happy they included taxes and tariffs in the final price so I'm not surprised by UPS and their ******** 'brokerage' fees they charge on delivery. I'll post a full review when I receive the exhaust.

Just ordered my Akrapovic exhaust and a PCV from motomummy.com
Great customer service, ordered it this morning and it's being shipped sometime in the afternoon.

Dr_Sarcasm, I hear what you're saying about STG, ordered $300 worth of parts, shipping was 35$ to Canada and I ended up paying duties worth 50$ +/- even thought they shipped via USPS.

Motomummy.com was selling the exhaust and pcv for 100$ cheaper than STG and only 15$ shipping via USPS priority, hopefully I won't get surprised with any additional fees this time around.

Two thumbs up to motomummy.com, no complaints so far...
