    Re: Gtamotorcycle.com Facelift>>>>>>>>>>>>

Looks good...I like it...and thanks for the effort...however we already have printing, cards, shirts, etc with the current logo. Unfortunately we can't change it every few months...LOL

Maybe in the future though. We'll keep in on file. Next time, we'll maybe run a logo contest or something.

Although we appreciate the effort, it's best to contact us (or anyone you might do this for) before hand so you don't waste your time and maybe spend more time riding.

    Cheers

Dammit Paul. This logo is so much better. Whats the problem with having it for the website and a different one on t-shirts?

If you notice he did that quite cleverly. He blew up the pictures of the bike design he used and then faded it to a very light colour. Very smart and looks great.

    Hands down......the OP design wins.

Who cares about business cards, and t shirts? Lots of companies reveal new designs and logo's and implement them in "transition" phase. Starting with one item, and then eventually spreading to everything.

Business cards are cheap to make, and whats it take to print another 10 or so, GTAM hats and t shirts? <g>

Too bad. That logo is the biz.

    Re: Gtamotorcycle.com Facelift>>>>>>>>>>>>

if two logos are already in circulation, how much harder would it be to put 4 logos into rotation, alternating?

that way there would be some continuity with the existing branded materials, and they could continue to be used until they run out. then re-order with the new logos. . .

edit: oh, and big props to the op for putting in the time and effort. clearly better than the old logos, and so far, by unanimous consent. . .

I think the updated version still captures the essense of the existing so, it doesn't render them totally outdated.

However, if there was a refresh in the works for the future, I think it would be smart to run a contest, pick a winner and promote the new look to generate more members/use/vendors etc.

    The OP's renderings are great!!!

It's not about mind your own business. Look forward to working with him in the future, but we've already gone to print for this season.

Nothing to say you won't see that logo next year!

Seriously, logo is not that much different to warrant not putting it at the top of the page. Nobody is going to mistake it for another website.

Hey wait, the logo on this business card is slightly different than the logo on the website, this must not be the right place.

I like the lettering on the originals though, rather than the all blocks on the new.
