California Dreaming - Trip Report

Did a 10 day tour in Southern California last September. Organized tour on rented bikes that stayed off the beaten track.

If you look closely you can see the road


Getting near the top on a mountain pass.


Still climbing.


At the top. One of the riders in the group we met at the top hit a deer on the way up.



Heading down (different pass). What a difference.



Popular lunch spot - lots of nice bikes including a John Deer paint job.

Stuck in road construction on the way up another pass



Again if you look close you can see the road - the smoke is a forest fire.



Functioning gas tanks - very expensive but the only one around.

Great trip - would do it again in a minute.

...maybe a 3 wk round trip to the MotoGP.
