Did about 1,000 miles in 4 days.
Got rained it for a couple of hours, but all and all it was a great ride.
Riding out there is nothing like riding here.
Desserts, Mountains, Beaches.... curvy, twisty, winding roads all over and its warm weather.
Here are some of the many pics i took, i thought you might enjoy.

Amazing!
Ive been meaning to ask on here. How are roadtrips on a SS bike? Ive only ridden mine a few times now, but I get uncomfortable after 1.5 hrs on the bike. Did you have to take alot of breaks? Were you in pain by the end of the day?
PS. how much does a rental like this cost in Vegas? Deposit?
I'm jealous!!
The bike you pick is def up to the rider.
I was fine with the SS.
I have owned 3 of the bike i rented, so i was very comfortable with it and knew exactly what to expect.
I only really took breaks to fill up gas/eat while riding.
Usually I would be filling up every couple hours.
The trick is to not ride a lot of kms in one day. Pick a comfortable amount and dont kill yourself.
I rode about 250 miles a day and was fine. Never any back pain.
Having said all that..... The rental was $600 for the 4 days. Unlimited usage. $2500 refundable deposit. (these are the rates i found, depending on shops, the bike, days of trip, and usage kms prices can very)
if you have another questions PM me and i will help you out all that i can.
Thats amazing. Do you know what it would have costed to fly your own bike to Vegas?
yup jealous doesn't say enough.......................group bike rental in South Western US anyone?

Very inspiring! I showed them to the girlfriend and she said "When do we leave?". Although, would probably do that on a couple of Street Glides and not an SS.

*drool*. I lived in CA, but I didn't have my bike then. Those twisty roads in the mountains are breathtaking, be it motorcycle, car or a bicycle (road bike, mountain, etc.)
Wow, your road trip looks amazing. I am also contemplating a trip later in the fall
