Does dirt stick to your face.

I ride my DS with dirt helmet and goggles but every time after a ride (city and hwy mixed), I get home and there's a thin layer of black stuff around my lip. It's quite annoying. Must I use a full face to avoid this.

You can use a thin balaclava type set up.
Overseas the dirt is literally finer that talcom powder, and when you're the last vehicle in a convoy going through that stuff, you can't see 10 feet ahead of the truck, and that works for us there.
