    New safety product

I've been using the LEATT neck brace for MX and Supermoto since they came out.

You really don't see too many MX racers/riders without one these days, because they work.

Lots of people ask about roadrace use, but the design was not ideal for use with leathers.

Leatt has changed this and has created a roadrace specific neck protection device.

I'll be sporting one this season, they're a good investment that will last a long time and survive many crashes.

Awesome. I was wondering if and when they would be able to apply them in roadracing use. Looking forward to hearing how it work for you.

I'm surprised that we have not seen riders in Motogp use a similar product yet

That device would result in a lost of 4-5mph top speed.

Here's the thing... I'm not willing to sacrafic that kind of top speed... but I'm a top level racer, with big sponsors expecting BIG results from me... I need that xtra speed to inch out the competition, so for me this isn't the best fit... but for the rest of you slo-pokes I think it's a great idea! ................ enough said! LOL jks.

Given the size of your head, the wind should rush right on past the brace ...man there is always so many things to spend money on.

I should just let you use it.

You spend more time on your head that I do.

How much movement does is curtail, if any? Can I look behind me if I'm using one? Mostly everyone is in front of me but for that odd occasion.

The MX unit does not limit movement in any noticeable way.

you'd have to try one for yourself.

OK, thanks. I will have to see one and try it. It makes sense for we club racers. Every little bit of protection helps.

Awesome, this is like the missing piece in the safety gear puzzle. If I can afford one I will get one for sure.

It looks nice and simple than airbag system. I will get one for sure to try. But I guess I need to cut a speed hump to fit this one. I think Tony at BRS was talking about it at January show. Wonder he is going to carry this one.
