is this what britton has been wearing lately or has he been using the MX version? Noticed he has a neck brace on since his surgery.

He was using the lower end, non-adjustable Adventure brace(or so his website says)

I just got back from Indy and checked this out, definitly looks promising for the road race world, should be available in April, and they are looking at $350-$400 retail. They sure did their homework with this, and I plan to get one once their available,

Where in the GTA is the best place to buy a Leatt brace? In store or online.
I'll be using it mostly for trail riding but I want to get into riding mx tracks.

looking at the current product line I want to try on the GPX Adventure 3 or Club 2
Would this be usable when wearing either a 661 pressure suit or Fox Airframe Roost deflector? Or is Leatt specific armour required?

Hopefully the range of motion is there for use during downhill mountain biking too. Otherwise I'd have to get a DBX one as well.

Thanks for answering any or all of my questions

It will work for Downhill very well(but they will do a number on your collarbone when you crash)

They can be set up to work with just about any upper body protection.

Any of the major MX dealers in the GTA will be able to get you one.

Royal Distributing always has a good stock of them in.

I just got the MX one at Tri-City Cycle for $210. That was the best price I could find. There is a place an MX shop Peterborough that is selling them around that price too. Tri-City is also selling the street one, but did not inquire about the price.

That was the problem with the original MX, it would not work with the speed hump or a back protector
Stupid question, but how does it work ? None of the specs actually refer to how it works in action (lots of reference to how it fits with gear and ergo's but nothing on the actual function for protecting your neck). I'm gonna google search reviews and see if can find how it works, but can you give some info on what it does ?
Is it mainly a brace that only allows you helmet to move so far and prevents your neck from snapping or is there something more to it ?
Neck protection is such a big concern and it's great to see new product to address this.

edit: never mind. just saw the answer to my question a few posts up.
    nice review.

It also prevents compresion type injuries as it distributes the load to your shoulder/collar bow area
