    ECE is allowed in all roadracing classes and shouldn't be an issue for a track day.

    will I be able to use my ogk ff5 helmet or do I have to use my icon snell helmet? (the ogk is not dot or snell but carries the Japanese SG safety standard and MFJ FIM standard)

    Snell is preferable. Bring them both then your covered.
