2011 helmet requirements?

I'm too lazy to do a search so.... Need a new lid or two for the kid for this season. What are the required ratings for SOAR and RACE?

Snell 2010 or ECE 22-05 or BSI w/a date stamp less than 6 years for SOAR
RACE is ok with 2005 and any ECE 22-05 I dont think they care about a manufacture date which I dont understand as the ECE 22.05 came into effect in 2000 so you could theoretically buy a ECE helmet and use it forever?
Before i start getting grief about why our standard is what it is. We are dictated by Lloyds regarding our standard. Snell gets one year bye then it must be current. Certifications that do not use dates (ECE,BSI) must be accompanied by a manufacturer applied date sticker of 6 years or less.
