Just got back home from visiting captainlol with rfid.
Just like rfid mentioned on the previous post that Danny is keeping an eye on this thread & wants to thank everyone for their kind words.
I got to see the helmet and with Danny's permission I am able to post it here too.
For the friends & family visiting, he doesn't like McDonalds food but loves Orange Juice!!!

When I spoke with Danny, he had no idea if he hit his head or not but a piece of his helmet was beside him and was shown to me. These pics certainly confirm that he made contact with something and the helmet did it's job.

i want to say thank you to all of you because it means alot to danny and my family and especially myself as a fellow rider. i know he's viewing the site through his blackberry, but i'm not sure if he has anymore battery or if they brought him his charger.

i've have had the anxious experience of waiting in the ER waiting to hear how friends were doing after crashes or visiting to see how they were doing.

in my 7 years of riding, i hoped no one close to me or myself was ever in something like this where we'd feel what this side of receiving the love and support would be like in this overwhelming situation. but i'm getting an idea and it is amazing and wonderful. those words really don't do the feeling justice though.

Danny, I only had the opportunity to meet/ride with you once this past season, but I was shocked to find out it was someone I knew that was involved in this accident. I'm glad you made it through, all things considered, and I wish you a very speedy recovery. The road ahead may be difficult, but you have the support of your loving friends and family. Keep your spirits up, and we all hope to see you around in the very near future.

My coworkers told me about his yesterday but seemed to act like it was a case of poor traction due to riding in the winter. Now that I know it was a car that's a whole different story.
