    Shut down my modem all night and started it this morning and still same ole connection problem.

    you have to do more then just shut it down... Unplug it for 4 to 72 hours. It's just easier to to change your MAC address in your router. you are running a router right?

    I did unplug it for at least 8hrs. It's a wireless modem from Rogers.
    If you could explain change Mac address and how, that would be awesome...I'm no freakin techie here....thanks

    I don't know... I personally would never get a Router/Modem combo... Anyway, I did a quick google search and couldn't find anything that mentions how to do it. What's the model name and number? Your best bet would be to call rogers customer service and wait an half hour for them to answer then ask them to give you a different IP address. Tell them some sites are blocking your IP address for no apparent reason.
