GEAR - some people ride with it, some people don't. It's time to accept this fact and move onto more pressing preaching.

HID's - your crappy install is blinding and annoying everyone else - not to mention putting yourself in some degree of danger.

    Well that's just cheating.
If it has 3 wheels or a roof, it's a car now.

Hey, I'm not about to jump in one, but the thing still offers a lot of joy of riding, such as the lean and the nimbleness. Plus I'd rather have more of these on the road if it means less cars. Let's not jump on the hate wagon when presented with innovation. Sure it's not going to attract a lot of riders who ride for fun already, but if it puts more cagers on two wheels, I'm down.

The "roof" is actually a safety cage. The rider is tied to the bike by a 4-point seatbelt This scooter is approved (I believe it is the only one), at least in Europe, to be ridden without a helmet.

I remember seeing one of these at the bike show in the BMW display years ago. It wasn't for sale in Canada (don't know if it is now), it was just for show. The canopy is actually a roll bar/safety cage kind of thing.
Wonder how it handled the wind yesterday?

When you overdo the stoppie on this one, will it roll-through and land back on its wheels?

Wasn't there some kid's wind-up toy like that a few years ago, a motorcycle that would always land right side up?
All this thing needs is a big key sticking out of the back.

In paris, scooters are all over the place...and one major thing about this (to address how ppl who dress up keep their clothes 'clean') is that there's a heavy 'blanket' that's attached to the (for lack of a better work) front floor, and draped over the lap of the rider...splashes, dirt, bugs and exhaust are shielded from the rider's legs/lap...

Saw them in Switzerland too. The ones that didn't have a roof, invariably had some kind of tarp or blanket like attachment to partially cover the rider.

Saw a bunch of them when I was in england a few years ago, normally with a suit riding it in central London.

I took the pictures, so unless I was snatched up by some sort of weird time/dimension wormhole and deposited in Paris without knowing it, yup, it's Front St.
