Post Winter storing / First service for bike

Hi, i got a new bike about 3 months ago and haven't had that much time to ride it. I've put 850km's on it so far and the first service is suppose to be at 1000km's.

I was planning on winter storing it sometime soon but was wondering whether i should get the fisrt service done and then store it or should i store it then when i reach 1000km's next year do the first service.

    any advice would be great.

    thanks

I would recommend storing it properly as the manual states then bring it in next year for a service. Don't wait till 1000k's just ride it straight there and get it serviced after the snow leaves!

Service now should be cheaper than spring service, just something to keep in mind. Or if you are storing it offsite, kneedragger88 has great rates and can have the service done for you before he returns the bikes.

Just something to keep in mind. Waiting for the magical 1000 is not really necessary (but only 1.5 hours or less away if you really wanted to do it.)
