    I've seen 1 person who owns 1...
but personally, my question would be why when it's an identical bike to the 650R, just with a smaller engine?

Price difference isn't that much either. Go with the 650R.

But price of insurance should be alot more for a 650 than a 400. It depends on who's buying it and how old they are.

But it looks better than the 650r. It also (theoretically) has the perfect amount of power (assuming that the 250r is just a little bit too little, and the 650r's more than you'd actually need).

I'm not even sure if the power-to-weight ratio vs. the 650r's even a good point. It's not like the thing would struggle to have some pep.

This would probably be my second bike if it didn't just come out/cost a ******** of money.

Other than the engine they are the same bike, and at that the 400 engine is a sleeved 650r engine. only reason to buy one is the insurance discount or if you have a 650 engine laying around to drop in (though technically the insurance company should be told).

I would be all over this bike if the body position would be the same as an SS.

except that would defeat the whole purpose of this bike

    Yeah, it looks WAY better.
Anyone else obsessively scrolling up and down, playing "Find the difference" with those 2 pics ??
I keep expecting there to be an answer picture with red circles on it.

And thanks Flipone, I might actually consider this as an upgrade... Insurance doesn't like me.

Ya no problem ThisGuy. I'm currently looking for my first bike and right now I'm kind of set on the 250r. The 400r would be great but I'd have to buy it brand new because there won't be alot, if any, used. There is maybe a 5000$ difference between the 2 bikes and i just want to ride.
