Cleaning melted rubber off the bike

So I went to the drag strip last night for the first time and had a blast. After a couple of runs and burnouts, I checked my back tire for the damage and was in for a surprise. Rubber bits everywhere, on my license plate and undertail exhaust. Tried to scrape it off before I headed home but didnt work out too well. Went home hoping I dont encounter any cops.

Any tips on how to clean these bits of rubber off?

I've tried it, but only with a rag and it didnt work. Maybe I'll try with one of those dish washing sponges with the green abrasive surface.

use a de greaser, should work fine. next time spray some pam or other cooking spray on the possible affected areas, then giver a good wash after the track. the tire will come of easy. this works prior to burnouts too.

BUT if you're running radials you're doing to much of a burnout. You are getting the tire TOO HOT. Back into the box and just turn the tire once, just enough to clean it off.

I managed to clean my license plate with chain clean+abrasive side of dish washing sponge+paper towels. And now that the bike is cold, I am able to pick at the rubber bits on the exhaust and they fall off. The last time I tried, the exhaust was hot and just smeared the rubber everywhere.

I'm running radials but on Friday night it was 5 degrees so I had to get some heat into the tire so it was a 2-3 second burnout. Even then got some decent wheelspin.

Started the night out with no burnout as I wasnt going as hard and by the 3rd run, bike went sideways on the top of 1st gear so burnout everytime after that. Got in about 20 runs.

First run was mid 13s as I was still learning how to read the tree. Managed to run a 11.015s@127mph at the end of the night though.

WD40 works wonders, just keep it away from your caliper area
Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.

I've used oven cleaner (Easy Off pump spray) to remove melted shoe from my exhaust pipes; worked like a charm, just stay away from any painted areas.
    Damn passengers!
