Wow. I was going to go and get the tag late last night at the Rouge Valley Health System and I was planning on placing the tag in the same place. Not at this tree but in the same town. Either great minds think alike or you are as daft as me.

Old; The Shoe Tree Central St (Conc. 9) just east of Brock Rd. Claremont.
If you have not been to Claremont it is a beautiful bedroom community surrounded by farm lands that are about to become the Pickering Airport. The number of old houses that I have driven by on my way to work only to return to a driveway and a hole in the ground. Some entire hamlets are gone. I find it odd that at a time when airlines are dying off as business travel becomes a thing of the past and a food shortage seems imminent that prime farm lands are being paved over for runways.

I can see a soon to be pilot taking this stance and you may have a very valid point but I have soft spot for old houses/building etc. that represent our past and this breaks my heart.
Try selling your new house in Stouffville when you and all your fly boy buddies start buzzing over our roof tops.
I hope your not putting a 2 Brothers on your Cessna! haha.

Named to honour David Gohn, early settler on Leslie Street, south of current
Hwy 407. The David Gohn House was the first to be relocated to Markham Heritage
Estates subdivision.
... at one point many years ago, the Misses and I considered purchasing the home two doors west of here.... But the thought of spending years restoring every brick and floorboard did not appeal to us.
"Still in the game", baby! (p.s. I failed miserably on my attempted roadside mobile upload ... still need to figure this thing out. Eventually the thought came to mind "Hey, I'm suited up. Standing next to my bike. And I'm out here tappin' away on a micro-keyboard?!?!? Saddle up!)
Sure am glad I decided not to detour by there as I left just before 6:30. Would have been disappoint
Searched for that damn tree for an hour yesterday. Knew I had seen it somewhere around there but was getting frightfully low on fuel and needed to get home. I was off by a couple of sideroads … Ho hum
And I just figured out the settings of my Kodak 2 mega pixel camera!!!
Enjoy grabbing all these tags while you can. I'm out is service til tomorrow the earliest. Then I'll be back on top!

Is it just me, or is this phototag getting out* of control! Pretty soon you will be seeing bikes waiting on the side of highways with the tow trucks waiting for the next post! Lol
