If you have not been to Claremont it is a beautiful bedroom community surrounded by farm lands that are about to become the Pickering Airport. The number of old houses that I have driven by on my way to work only to return to a driveway and a hole in the ground. Some entire hamlets are gone. I find it odd that at a time when airlines are dying off as business travel becomes a thing of the past and a food shortage seems imminent that prime farm lands are being paved over for runways.

I can see a soon to be pilot taking this stance and you may have a very valid point but I have soft spot for old houses/building etc. that represent our past and this breaks my heart.Business travel is not a thing of the past...pfftt...
