I know that road is popular for us on 2 wheels, but being on a holiday weekend, gotta take it easy. I've been on it before on a weekday, much less cars to worry about. But for the long weekend, there be much more cars everywhere.

We were there on Sunday and unfortunately contributed to that statistic, good thing damages were not life threatening. There was a fair bit of traffic in the afternoon but the late morning was ok.

RIP Rider, sad to hear; I was there later Saturday afternoon, very little traffic, no visible enforcement.

Peterborough OPP have released the name of the person, in this incident. I won't post it here but people who think that it might be a friend should check their press page.

I see that now. I don't believe that it was there when I first checked the link.

Kind of chilling, you gear up, out for a nice ride, but have no idea it will be your last.

    RIP.

RIP rider. There were a couple of incidents with GTAM riders over the weekend in that area, but nothing fatal thankfully.

We were there, our friend down 30 min before this man, in the same spot.... he is in the hospital right now getting better... bike is a write off, and the fallen rider was lost from his group, we met his brother when our buddy was down he was looking for him, but as we were on our way home we heard of this... a very sad day .... my condolences to friends and family of the rider who passed on sunday.
just a side note to remind everyone that it is moose hunting season. it coincides with the rut. the bulls move alot more in this part of the season as they agressively look to mate so beware! also deer hunting season for gum is open beginning of november and dogs are used to move them out of the bush so they will be running so please keep a heads up! thank you.
