Here is my love....
1978 Honda CB550k 46,000 KM'S completely restored to original spec. by PO. I got her on July 1st for $1150 and I've put on 2100 km's this summer. I had to clean the carbs and replace the plugs other then that I've had balls of fun with her....
Mods being installed this winter are
-Tomaselli Clip Ons
-LED turn signals
-New tail light
-New tires

here is my CB400t, 1978
It has 46+k on the clock, no major work has been done on it, as far as I know. I guess the bike was re-painted before I got it, since they only came in red and blue.
I use it as daily rider, it works great for city commute, does alright on a highway, struggles to keep up after 600+cc machines if ride in group. Kudos to Honda and all Japanese manufacturers - the bike does not require much of maintenance after 32 years of service =)
re-tired, re-cabled, headlight fuse went off- replaced with spare one on a spot. Other than that, regular gas, regular oil, Teflon chain spray and TLC

My experience of your posts is that you can be very negative at times. My apologies if I misunderstood. I hate seeing people put down and hate seeing negativity. I personally welcome differences of opinion but not if they come with a negative tone. Negativity fuels negativity which I am sorry for spreading. So 'puts hand out' shake and move on?
Technically Vintage is roughly 1920's to 1940's. What we ride is all considereded classics as they are between 20-45 years old. I still use the term vintage and therefore yours still fits if you want it too. Besides its an excuse to show off your ride So be proud and let us all admire it too
