Hey Thanks. Yea - not the original bars, those are a set of clubmans that I put on a few years back. Much cooler than the original ape hangers.

I was thinking a simple black and bling route

tank - follow the lines of the original 2-tone, but where it's silver go with chrome, where it's blue, go with black
frame and front lamp - black
chrome the wheels....and after the motor is rebuilt, get the entire thing polished up like a mirror

A new acquisition this past week, to add to my small Honda scoot collection .. an '82 Honda C70 Passport with 3,108 kms, and stored for 24 years. Rolled into my living room for evaluation and cleanup. This one is destined for the street next summer.

    More details/photos at this post.

As i was leaving back alley moto last night you were over heard insulting my bike. For your info it was being stupid due to the cold not the straight pipes. What I would like is an end to this internet bs and come clean with all the negativity ****. Heres me offering to meet up for coffee or something harmless and shake hands. Be done with the insults and back talk. Contact me here as I get replies on my cell. Let's end this as civil adults and perhaps move on to maybe be friends or something.

It has 46+k on the clock, no major work has been done on it, as far as I know. I guess the bike was re-painted before I got it, since they only came in red and blue.
I use it as daily rider, it works great for city commute, does alright on a highway, struggles to keep up after 600+cc machines if ride in group. Kudos to Honda and all Japanese manufacturers - the bike does not require much of maintenance after 32 years of service =)
re-tired, re-cabled, headlight fuse went off- replaced with spare one on a spot. Other than that, regular gas, regular oil, Teflon chain spray and TLC

Nice looking bike... I'm working on a 78 CB400A. It's mechanically sound, but the cosmetics need some TLC. I've owned it for 10 years, used it for a daily rider for about 6 of them, and haven't done anything major to it. Just the usual chain, sprockets, breaks and fluids. It even started on the first kick with a mostly dead battery after being in storage for 3 years. I agree it is a bit slow, but its bullet-proof!
