Go into any of the local stores and they have free maps with all the great roads.. All the locals down there are great and bend over backwards to help out and share information.

Who's done TOTD and can be so kind to share their route for me? I'm not really interested in the route from here to there, but once you get there, the route for any nice roads would be awesome.

Tip #1 - hit up a local bike place (or order online) the Smoky Mountains Mad Map. I had one, lent it out and never got it back but it was awesome. http://www.madmaps.com/roadtrips/pro...-KY-TN-GA-map/
Tip #2 - don't lend this map out......
Tip #3 - go here http://www.tellicomoto.com/ (first - have the ice cream across the street). The owner gave us a route (one of his fave's) and we loved it.
Tip #4 - rain day stop here http://www.destinationmotorcycles.com/
At the top of Waterrock Knob (on the BRP) I actually bought a neat little flip-book with motorcycle roads on it from the gift shop. All the pages were laminated and seperable (attached by metal rings) so it was pretty handy for the days I was in the area. Honestly, though, you can't throw a stick without hitting good roads in the area once you're there.
