    Sydenham Road, Dundas area

One of my favourite roads when I'm in that area.

Heads up, police presence will be much higher in this area for a while.

Apparently some youths are "long boarding" (like a skate board, but longer) down the hill, and many neighbours are complaining about the danger of these guys.

Pains me to strike this road off my riding road list.

I used to longboard a bit. Riding Sydenham would take some serious balls.

I've actually seen them getting setup one time when Blue919 and I were riding through there. Helmets and stuff and boards in hand standing around a car ready to go.

The were all between the ages of 18-21. I'd hate to see what would happen if they got clipped by a car or lost it into a tree/ditch

Sydenham is on my list of "polished road surfaces" to be careful on, but ya, dudes longboarding with no brakes other than their feet.. not good.

I like the way it goes up the side of a mountain. It's bi-directional, so either way's a treat. Unless you're relying on gravity.

Sydenham hasn't been the same since they shaved the jump out of the centre (uphill) lane.
