Feet on pegs when inching forward?

How are you 'supposed' to do this e.g., when you are a long line of cars turning left? I find that sometimes I keep my left leg on the ground whereas other times I advance with both feet on. What's does the ministry want for the M2 exit?

also, what is the meaning of life?

Not sure they would ding you for walking along as your inch forward but try dragging your rear brake. It should help you keep the bike steady and you can keep both feet on the pegs.

You shouldn't be inching forward. Move up and stop. Move up and stop. Left foot on the ground, right on the brake.
