As discussed with last week's post i'm planning a ride to CALABOGIE this Saturday 28th
leaving from Whitby at the T-Horton (401 exit Thickson)
Once again Calabogie area for those who don't know - has great roads with lots of twisties
I don't think it will be a good idea for the people who ride a 125cc..i'm sorry it will take wayyyyyy too long to get there.
The weather so far is looking very good for the weekend, so in my opinion we should leave no later then 8:45am SHARP pls!!!
So come on out the riding season is getting shorter hopefully we'll have a good turn out
Put down your name if you're attending this ride.
Tnks Sal

thx for leading and great route while it lasted! pm whenever another is happenin, I was the gen1 sv !
I was last in line (sweepnig) when I realized I didn't have my helmet done up properly, and had to stop on the on-ramp of the highway. By the time I had it done up, I couldn't find you (Mi dispiace Sal). It was my fault really. I ended up seeing if I can find you guys in the area, and I actually ended up crossing you guys on the calabogie bogey (65).
I also got burned by the 28 closure, so I ended up going through Quadville (using the 514,515,Opeongo), then back to 41, and then got onto the Calabogie Bogey (71). (Keep in mind I think i was going the opposite way, so i was trying to get to calabogie using the 28, but I must say the detour was a lot of fun!)
Did you take the 41 back home?

that's kind of ****** ya we thought you had turned around for some reason, couldn't figure out how we could have lost you on the 401. Normally we're really good about waiting if you had managed to let someone know you had to pull over i'm sure they would have pulled the whole group over.
Not sure without looking at the map we were on, went down to highway 7, across to i think it was 35 then back to the 401. Was a pretty unfortunate way to have to head home but there was nothing else we could have done that wouldn't have added 2+ hours to the trip.
