Motorcycle Mayhem Aug 21 - Show and Shine Contest Info

AT Motorcycle Mayhem Sat Aug 21
GTMA will be having a Show and Shine Contest

We're ready for registration for Show and Shine at the GTMA Booth at 9am.

The bikes can then be put in the display area for everyone to admire. If they don't want to leave their bike in the display area, then they must have it in the display area between 2-4:30 for judging. We'll tally up the results between 4:30 & 4:50 and we'll award the trophies at 5pm.

There will be various classes/ and awards in each class....

(I understand this is the Ride/Hookup Section - but its also ride/hookup/event section - and I thought this would be the appropriate location for this post)

Judged Catagories are :
1. Best Vintage 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
2. Best Custom/Chopper 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
3. Best Dualsport/Supermoto 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
4. Best Sport Bike 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
5. Best Cruiser/Tourer 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
6. Best Paint 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
7. Best Of Show 1st 2nd and 3rd Place
8. Best Drag Bike 1st 2nd and 3rd Place

Its at Toronto Motorsport Park (Cayuga) ---- remember the day after you got your M2....and you drag raced your bike there......yeah....same place

So how can you be entered in the show and shine and be at the dragstrip running at the same time????

Thats a good question.... I'm gonna find out
I suspect that we can make a note on your registration card that your racing (drag or curcuit) -- and possibly give you a smaller time slot to park and show your bike for judging.....but really, I'm not sure....I'm just helping out - so I will ask...

If I don't get an answer back to you in time....I'll have info about that @ the GTAM.com registration booth....

We understand that a lot of the bikes that will be entered into the show 'n shine will also be on the drag strip or the road course. We've provided the specific time of 2:4:30pm to have your bike in the display area so that it can be judged.

Last year, people would bring their bikes there for as long as they could, we had the judges judge the bikes as they were there. Just note that you have to be back to the GTAM booth at 5pm sharp for the handing out of the trophies.

I went left the dragstrip and rode the bike down to the tent to register,waited around for a good 5 minutes and not a soul around...never did get registered...oh well....It was nice to see the good turnout...
