Ganaraska Forest Fee Increases


Effective July 1st 2010, the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will come into effect. Renew your membership before July 1st and save any price increase which includes HST.
Ganaraska Forest annual membership and day pass fees will be priced at the following as of July 1st:
ANNUAL
Tier 1 - Hiking $30.00/Adult & N/C for Youth
Tier 2 - Cross-country Skiing $50.00/Adult & $25.00/Youth
Tier 3 - Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Hunting $60.00/Adult & $30.00/Youth
Tier 4 - Tier 3 & Skiing $100.00/Adult & $50.00 Youth
Tier 5 - Motorized Vehicles $125.00/Adult & $60.00/Youth
Tier 6 - Tier 5 & Skiing $155.00/Adult & $75.00/Youth
DAY
Tier 1 $6.00/Adult & N/C for Youth
Tier 2 $12.00/Adult & $6.00/Youth 16 & under, N/C for 8 years of age & under
Tier 3 $12.00/Adult & $6.00/Youth
Tier 5 $25.00/Adult & $10.00/Youth

this is the interesting part. Wonder if they've been considering it for years and thought now was the best time or if they thought what the hell now we can blame it on someone else and make a tidy profit. Who knows.
