    Alpinestar boot - Squeeking!

So i've been riding around in the older SMX3 boot for a while, LOVED them.

Now I have upgraded to the SM-X plus racing boot ...and they squeak like heck!

I've put some dry graphite lube in the places where they squeek, didnt help. I've tried talcum powder...it helps a bit.....

any inside suggestion? to help them squeak less?

IT SUCKS @ tims...having squeaky boots!

they are race boots, meant for riding, not walking.

why would you want to get rid of that? now everyone will look to see what the heck is making all that noise and see you nice new boots!

They don't all do it. My right one doesn't. Just the left, which sounds even stranger!

My race boots do it-my touring boots do not.
If you hate it too much get a hold of John Bickle and get his Bees Wax leather treatment and treat the boots with it, and put a little extra behind all the plastic armour contact points.

Man your doing it all wrong, get that trailer out of your front lawn hook it up to the truck and tow your bike over to Tim's and pose. When some punk challenges you, take the "race-bike" off the trailer and have at it, squeaky boots and all...

PS didn't realize we live so damn close to each other

My Sidis squeak. I've never thought of it as problematic, though. *shrug*
