    Re: Looking hard work!

    Welcome!

Don't get discouraged! I just went through the same process of buying a bike not too long ago, and I agree. Looking is definitely hard work!

Just be patient and you'll find your bike soon enough. That's what happened to me. Was about to give up on my search and just buy new, but then found my bike at a good price.

There's some good deals out there, but be ready (as you already know) to act immediately. Have the cash ready in hand, talk to the seller on the phone (good way of screening the good from the bad very quickly and you're also not waiting to hear back from them by email, which equals precious time wasted), and go see the bike as soon as you can.

But, with that said, don't feel pressured into paying outrageous prices that some sellers feel justified in asking. It might seem as though you found the perfect bike (at an outrageous price). But, keep in mind that there are always more out there (at better prices).

Good luck, and I know you'll find your ride soon!

I was looking for a bike on/off for a year before i actually bought one, go with your gut instinct... don't rush and buy something that you don't really want simply because the price is right.
