New nightrider

Hello you all , Im glad I found a motorcycle forum for the GTA. I have been going around asking questions in my old car forums.


Okay , my name is Ali , well I am born and raised in Toronto , and just got back from Edmonton where I have been living for 2 years. Feels good to be back.

Not sure what has happened to me since I am back here but I have been looking for a car since I got back and coudnt find one I liked. I had a idea all of a sudden to check out bikes. I am not sure why , anyway long story short. I have purchased a 08 Suzuki GSXR 750cc all black. .... ( yup first bike ever )

I believe in safety first and I also believe that if you have full belief and faith you can do it so I chose the 750cc which I fell in love with. I know it is not recommended but alot of things are not.


I have some questions now. What are the first steps I do now in order to ride the bike ????

I am located in Pickering area. Anything near by ? schools , training ?
I want to do this soon and start riding before summer ends.

Also IS there such thing as 5 month insurance? I might make a thread about this after but I need to know my next steps as of now. Thanks and GREAT TO BE HERE. Bikers stick together am , is this true what I heard?

You don't need to make a thread, none of the questions you have asked are new and there are many sticky threads that cover your questions. Do more reading than writing and you will be off to a good start

And to answer this one, no, there is no such thing as 5 month motorcycle ins.
