Good to know, I was thinking about heading over there next month. Guess that's not happening!

The Forks is now closed until November to all through traffic. Local know... Seriously, I'm glad I got out there for one last blast tonight. If I hadn't stopped at the Shed I'd have not known how long the Forks will be closed!
Damn, any other road ideas?

Damm, i didn't make it out there this summer. Maybe it's a conspiracy with the locals to keep the bikers away.

Can anyone shed light on why its closed?
Road Closure and Detour Route: Forks of the Credit Road Starting mid-July 2010, the Region of Peel will begin stabilization of road and embankment works on Forks of the Credit Road in Caledon. Work is expected to continue to November 2010. Traffic will be restricted to local access only.
The proposed works will require full road closure at the following two locations:
- July August: from McLaren Road to east of Chisholm Street
- September November: from west of Dominion Street to east of Mississauga Road
Driveway access for residents will be available at all times during the construction period.
During construction, suggested detour routes are along Highway 10 from the east and Regional Road 19 (Winston Churchill Boulevard) from the west to Regional Road 24 (Charleston Sideroad), north route. The south route will direct traffic along Highway 10 from the east and Winston Churchill Boulevard from the west to Regional Road 12 (Olde Base Line Road).

Wow, haven't gone in a few weeks, was hoping to this Friday. Well, at least I got a few rips out of it.
I'm glad I 125'ed it one last time today!
NOOOOOO,
say it aint so,
it cant be!!
i loved going there
Thats too bad. I was there just this Sunday, my girlfriend and I like hanging out there and watching the bikes go by. That sucks.
Lets Ride
I went through there on my way home on Monday and again on Tuesday at around 4pm. Glad I was able to take a last run this season. I use that route every night as part of my commute because it makes the drive / ride home much nicer than droning along 10.

Thanks for posting... I guess, Hockley/Mono tomorrow after lunch instead of Forks... (starting from Brampton)
I use Hockley to get to The Forks from where I live... I'm going to hit Hockley Mono tomorrow witha buddy en route to Fergus. I'm headed to Blue Mountain in a few weeks for a work conference; any suggestions on where to take attractive female colleagues for spirited two up rides in the area durning my off time?
