SW-Vista is good, but top row on H where meets J is the best in my opinion, been on both but prefer H/J edge, it covers much more of the track

08 I sat in SW Vista. It was okay, adn there was some action.
09 I sat in section J near the top. You can see the last 7 turns from here. Was way better, watching little wee Pedrosa trying with all his might to pick his bike up after falling in the last turn onto the straight.
Prefer section J, and that's where I'll be again next week.

I'll be driving down with my truck towing a trailer (bikes inside). Anyone know a good place to park both? Hopefully within the IMS grounds or near it. Got a 3day pass and reserved a hotel just a few miles away. But I'd prefer to keep the vehicles close by during the event.

Leave your truck at your hotel-trust me, you don't want to try to find and pay for cage parking near the track, and after the race, you will sit for hrs in the truck waiting for the traffic jam-bikes are given right-of-way by the traffic cops and you can leave track immediately on your bike.
Commute from your hotel to the track and back on the bike. With your 3 day pass you should be given a parking pass to park in the "bikes only" lot nearest to your seating.

That is a good plan and having the advantage of the bikes only parking close to our seats. Hopefully my gf can take the weekend off or else I'll have to bring my buddy along which mean doubling him to the venue. Two dudes on a bike (nothing wronge with that eh fellows?? ). Looks like its going to hot all week at Indy, might have to backpack shorts and tees for the commute. Curious what is the best time to go on Sunday, race day?

Perhaps an option to take the 75 and 70 to save 2 hours, or stick with this and the twisties after Toledo if we aren't pressed for time.
Confirmed party: Myself, Hassan, Mohsen, Bojan (picking up from Kitchener en route)
Departure: Thursday 26th 8:30 am (Highway 10 and Eglinton Tim's - Mississauga), Kitchener stop / pick up aprox. 9:30am (Watson Blvd, Regional Rd 28 Tim's).
